Nestor Ascencio scored two goals and assisted on three as the Stars opened NACC play with back-to-back wins to improve to 6-2-0 on the season. In a 6-1 win over Rockford, Ascencio factored into four goals, scoring twice and assisting on two more. The senior then picked up an assist in Dominican's 3-1 win at Marian on Saturday.
