The Stars' rookie lefty picked up a pair of complete-game victories for Dominican in just his second and third collegiate starts. Last Monday, Sherman led the Stars to a 6-1 win over Elizabethtown, a team that played in the 2017 Mid-Atlantic Regional. In the win, Sherman scattered nine hits and two walks, surrendering just one run while striking out two. The freshman followed that up with a complete-game shutout on getaway day for Dominican over the Muskingum Fighting Muskies. Sherman allowed just five hits and three walks while lowering his season ERA to 1.59.
