In her first collegiate tournament, freshman Gabija Sinickaite led the Stars to a 3-1 weekend at the Ground Round Sugar Loaf Classic hosted by St. Mary's University. For the weekend, Sinickaite led the Stars in kills (32), points (38) and hitting percentage (.333). In Dominican's first win of the season, a four-set victory over Luther, Sinickaite tallied 11 kills on 30 swings. While collecting 75 total attacks on the weekend, Sinickaite committed just seven errors. The Stars' rookie added 1.0 blocks per set on the defensive side of the net.
