Amari Stafford helped the Stars to a 2-1 week in conference play last week, with wins over Aurora and Rockford. Stafford, a junior, dropped in 13 points in Dominican's win over Aurora to start the week, shooting 4-for-5 from the field, including a perfect 3-for-3 from three. Stafford added seven assists in the winning effort. Stafford then chipped in eight points and five assists in a route of Rockford. The West Chicago native finished the week with a 13-point effort in a 634-54 loss to Lakeland. Stafford again knocked down three threes. For the week, Stafford averaged 11.3 points and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 52 percent from the field which includes 63 percent from three.
