Summer Smith helped the Stars to a trio of opening weekend sweeps, hitting .408 on 49 total attacks. The Elgin native averaged 3.13 kills and 4.38 digs per set in the all around effort. Smith's weekend culminated with her first double-double of the season, posting 11 kills and ten digs in a three-set sweep of host Ripon.
