Senior Timiya Ray helped the Stars to their first 3-0 start to a season since transitioning to NCAA DIII in 1998-1999, averaging 16.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. Â In Monday's season opener, Ray went for 20 points and nine boards, falling just shy of a double-double. Â The senior then logged double-doubles in both of Dominican's wins at the Rhodes Classic, including a 13-point, ten-rebound effort in a 76-75 win over Rhodes on Sunday that saw Ray score her 1,000 career point. Â For the week, Ray shot 43.5-percent from the field and added 1.7 blocks and 2.7 steals per game in the all-around effort.
