Logan Marvin was an All-Central Region Second Team selection by the NSCAA and voted the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Defensive Player of the Year following a season in which the senior helped the Stars to a 14-6-2 overall record that concluded with a NACC regular season title and an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament. The Iowa native transitioned from a forward/attacking mid to a center back three games into his senior season and solidified a defense that posted nine shutouts in 19 games after the position change. After allowing five goals in the first three games (1.15 goals against average) the Stars allowed just 12 goals in 19 games (0.69 goals against average) after Marvin was moved. The senior finished the 2014 campaign tied for the team lead with five goals, good for ten points which ranked sixth on the team.
