Marco Alvarez tallied a goal and an assist in the Stars' 4-nil win over their River Forest rivals, the Concordia University Chicago Cougars, on Wednesday afternoon.  Alvarez scored what proved to be the game-winner in the tenth minute and later assisted on the Stars' final score of the afternoon.  Additionally, in the final seconds of the first half, Alvarez made a run down the middle of the Cougars' penalty box to get on the end of a cross.  His flick deflected off a Cougar defender for an own goal to give Dominican a 3-0 lead at the half.  While Alvarez was not credited for the goal, his run and flick created the opportunity for the Stars.
