River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University Stars geared up for the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Women's Soccer Tournament on Saturday as they traveled to Watertown, Wis. to take on the Maranatha Baptist Bible College Crusaders in the final regular season match of the season. The Stars wrapped up third place in the NAC with a 1-0 win over the Crusaders as junior Mayra Camacho (Summit, IL) tallied the game-winning score in the 34th minute of play.

Dominican goalkeeper, Jacqui Lani (Green Bay, WI) picked up her fourth shutout of the season and lowered her goals against average to 1.61 on the season as she logged a pair of saves in the winning effort.

The Stars wrapped up the regular season with an overall record of 11-7-0 and a 9-3-0 record in conference play. The Stars will host MSOE in the opening round of the NAC Tournament on Tuesday, October 30. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Dominican's West Campus Field. The two teams met on Dominican's pitch just over a week ago with the Stars emerging with a 2-1 win.
