River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team fell to 6-2-0 in the Northern Athletics Conference with a 2-1 loss to Concordia University (WI) on Saturday.

The Stars fell behind 2-0 as the Falcons scored a pair of unanswered goals, the first coming in the 49th minute and the second goal coming in the 86th minute. The Stars lone goal came in the 90th minute as sophomore Anna Rudel (Chicago, IL) bent one of the Stars' six corner kicks into the Concordia Wisconsin goal. The goal was Rudel's fourth of the season.

Dominican was outshot 13-7 on the day and Dominican's sophomore goalkeeper, Jacqui Lani (Green Bay, WI) logged six saves on the day.

Earlier in the week, Dominican posted an 8-0 win over Rockford College. In that game, Mayra Camacho logged three goals and three assists in the winning effort for the Stars.

The Stars now stand at 6-5-0 overall with a match against Aurora University, the NAC's top team, on Wednesday followed by a non-conference match up with Millikin University on Saturday.
