Men's Soccer Remains Perfect in NAC Play

River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University men's soccer team remained unbeaten in Northern Athletics Conference play, improving to 3-0-0 in conference with a 5-0 win at Lakeland College on Saturday. Sophomore Zlatan Hodzic (Chicago, IL) netted what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 33rd minute, Hodzic's first goal of the season and first career game-winning goal.

Four other players netted goals for the Stars on the day with Nick Wisniewski (Carol Stream, IL), Stan Micic (Mt. Prospect, IL) and Nico Toro (St. Louis, MO) each logging their second goals of the season while Matt Kochanowski (Arlington Heights, IL) scored his team-leading tenth goal of the season to round out the Stars' offense.

In three conferences matches this season, the Stars have yet to surrender a goal and have outscored their opponents by a combined score of 18-0 in 270 minutes of play. Junior goalkeeper Piotr Sliwa (Chicago, IL) has logged two shutouts and combined for a third shutout, recording eight saves in 237 minutes in goal.

The Stars return to the field on Tuesday, September 25 as they travel to Benedictine University for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff under the lights at the Sports Complex in Lisle, IL.
