River Forest, IL - The Dominican University women's soccer team played host to the Lake Forest College Foresters on Tuesday afternoon and the two teams played to a scoreless tie.

The Stars were outshot 7-3 over the first 45 minutes of play, but bounced back in the second half before making a push in the first overtime as the Stars' ripped four shots compared to just two for Lake Forest. In the 100th minute of play, Dominican's offense broke down the Foresters' defense for the Stars' best scoring opportunity of the day but Dominican's Rosa Andreuccetti (Elmhurst, IL) put the shot just over the cross bar.

The Foresters held a 15-13 advantage in shots for the game, with Dominican's junior goalkeeper Jacqui Lani (Green Bay, WI) logging six saves on the afternoon and picking up her fourth shutout of the season and team's ninth.

The Stars return to action on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Milwaukee to take on the MSOE Raiders. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
