River Forest, IL - The Dominican University women's soccer team traveled to Aurora University on Tuesday afternoon to take on the defending Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) champions in conference play. The Stars were handed their second loss in the NAC, falling 4-0 to the Spartans.

Aurora scored what proved to be the game-winning tally in the 17th minute of play and extended their lead to 2-0 with a score in the 37th minute. The Spartans added a pair of insurance goals in the second half.

The Stars were outshot on the afternoon 25-3 with junior goalkeeper Jacqui Lani (Green Bay, WI) picking up nine saves in the losing effort for the Stars.

Dominican, now 9-4-0 on the season, travels to Illinois Wesleyan University on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Bloomington, Ill.
