The Dominican University men's golf team participated in a dual hosted by Benedictine University on Tuesday, playing their first of two matches this week to prepare for the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Spring Championship play. On Tuesday, the Stars carded a +66 (354) to finish behind Benedictine's +43 (331) team score.

Chris Montroy led the way for the Stars, placing 3^rd in the field of 13 golfers, turning in a +11 (83). Kamren Carey shot a +12 (84) to finished tied for 4^th place.

"It was nice to finally get out and compete," commented head men's golf coach Mark White. "The guys had a chance to get some good work in prior to the NACC Tournament this weekend. Chris Montroy and Kamren Carey were really solid which was nice to see."

The Stars will head to Joliet, Illinois, on Thursday to compete in the University of Saint Francis Invitational, held at Inwood Golf Club at 10:00 a.m.
