The Dominican University men's golf team got one final round under their belts before heading to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Fall Championship (NACC) this weekend. The Stars battled the Judson University Eagles in a 7 v 7 dual match at the Randall Oaks Golf Course in West Dundee, Illinois. Battling rain, mist and winds, the Stars fell 6-1 with freshman Kyle Kahl winning his match-up.
 
"I think the results aren't indicative of how hard our guys battled today," said Stars' head coach Antonio Rivas. "Most of the matches lasted through 15 to 16 holes and we competed extremely hard. Hats off to Coach Wendell and Judson as they are a great team and I am excited about our energy and enthusiasm heading into conference this weekend."
 
The Stars will cap off the fall season on Sunday and Monday as they head to Kohler, Wisconsin, to compete in the NACC Fall Championship at Whistling Straight Country Club.  Dominican will look to build on its season-best round of 314, logged Sunday at the Benedictine University Fall Invite.
