Aurora, IL – The Dominican University men's golf team competed in a Tri-Match Thursday afternoon, battling with Aurora and Benedictine University at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora.

The Stars used the round to not only get one more completion in for the spring season, but to see what is to come as Stonebridge will serve as the site for rounds three and four in the NACC Men's Golf Championship.

Jimmy Cerven and Tyler Stibal paced the Stars shooting an 82 and 83 respectively. Alex Gull (87) and Tyler Van Es (89) rounded out the team score at 341.

"I am glad we were able to get out and compete one last time before heading into the final two rounds of the NACC tournament," said Stars Head Coach Antonio Rivas. "I am hoping the guys will make adjustments after seeing the course today and bring forth a much more competitive score in the conference tournament."

The Stars tee off again on Sunday as round three of the NACC Championship is set to start at 1:00pm at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, IL.
