Mequon, WI – The Dominican University men's and women's tennis teams faced a tall task Saturday afternoon, traveling to Mequon to take on the Concordia University of Wisconsin Falcons. The Falcons proved to be too much for the Stars as both the men and women would drop their respective contests 9-0.
Men's Recap:
In doubles action, the Stars only point would come off of the duo of
Samuel Pardinas and
Andre Duran. The pair would eventually drop their match 8-1.
Singles action wouldn't go the Stars' way as well. Pardinas was able to muster three points in his matchup while Duran got on the board with two himself before dropping the match in two sets.
Women's Recap:
The duo of
Alyssa Fahner and
Cali Carlson proved to be the only time the Stars got on the board in doubles action. The pair would eventually fall 8-1.
Singles action saw Carlson's match prove to be the most competitive as she fell in two sets 6-1, 6-1.
The women are back in action next Wednesday as they travel to Madison to take on Edgewood College while the men will enjoy a small break before traveling to Wisconsin Lutheran next Saturday.
