Whitewater, Wis. - The Dominican University cross country team competed in the Warhawk Open on Friday.

Results:
Women's XC: 4th of 4 teams.
Men's XC: 4th of 5 teams

Shining Stars:
Women's:
-The Stars were led by senior Ashley Maclean who ran a 24:46.2 and placed second in the meet.
-DU's next best finisher was sophomore Myrka Quintero who ran a 33:23.1.
Men's
-Grad-student Michael Alcantar was the leading time for the DU men finishing with a 28:03.2 and placing 9th in the race. 
-Freshman Diego Valdivia had a strong performance as well running a 28:28.6 and placing 17th.

What's Next:
Dominican XC will compete in the NACC Fall Championship on October 28th.
