Algonquin, Ill. - The Dominican University men's golf team earned a dual-match victory at the Judson University Fall Invite.
In a tournament that turned in dual-match between the Stars and Eagles, Dominican scored a season low 331 to secure the match.
Tyler Van Es paced the Stars shooting an 81 and finished 2nd overall.
Patrick Crampton and
Luka Stundins both contributed an 83 while Zak Rojahn rounded out the score with an 84, which included his first collegiate eagle on the 15th hole.
The Stars victory is the highest finish in the NCAA-era and best finish since 2010 when the Stars placed 2nd in the Marian University Invitational.
The Stars will have a quick turnaround as they will be back in action tomorrow at the Benedictine University Fall Invite at St. Andrew's Golf and Country Club in West Chicago. The first tee time for the Stars is at 11:28am.Â
