Louisville, KY. – The Dominican University Cross Country program was back in action at the University of Louisville for the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic.

Results:
Men's XC: 13^th of 25 teams (Silver 8k)
Women's XC: 22nd of 23 teams (Silver 5k)

Shining Stars:
-Sophomore Jaime Favela led the Men's program with a 38th place finish and a time 27:15.3 and averaged a 5:28.9 per mile.
-Freshman Alberto Diaz finished second for the Stars finishing with a time of 28:17.0.  
-Junior Diego Valdivia posted a time of 28:57.1.
-Freshman Andrea Camacho paced the Women's program with a time of 22:12.4 and averaged a 7:08.8 per mile.
-Sophomore Fatima Duran clocked a time of 23:50.10.
-Sophomore Mary Bitter finished with a time of 26:19.8
-Junior Lily Jimenez was right behind Bitter putting up a time of 26:26.1

What's Next:
The Dominican University Cross Country programs continue the season at the 5^th Annual Interregional Invitational at Augusta University on October 18^th.
