Brad Dsida returns to the Dominican University cross country staff for his second season, after graduating with a degree in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College in May 2011. The Winnetka native lettered four years with the Tigers’ cross country and track programs. As a distance runner, Dsida was a member of the SCAC champion and national qualifying Tigers’ 2010 squad, posting a time of 27:29 at the national meet in Waverly, Iowa. Dsida’s personal best 8K time came at the 2010 SCAC Championship race, where the senior captain posted a 26:26, a two-minute, 18-second drop from his junior season, earning him the team’s Most Improved Runner award and solidifying his spot in the Tigers’ “top seven.”

Dsida was twice named a captain for the Tigers’ cross country squad, garnering the honor as a sophomore and as a senior. His sophomore year, Dsida won the team’s Lance Raymond/Most Inspirational Award as he improved by nearly 60 spots from his freshman season at the NAIA Mid-States Classic at Southwestern College.

At New Trier High School, Dsida was dominant in the 800-meters, winning conference and regional titles in 2007 as a senior while earning all-state and all-conference honors.
