Nicole Nodi has joined the Dominican University Cross-Country and Track teams as their Graduate Assistant.
An avid sports fan and athlete, Nicole ran cross-country for three years at Lake Forest College, consistently earning Academic All-American honors, and her senior year was voted the team’s most improved women’s runner, having taken more than three minutes off her best 6K time over the course of her final season. She has since spent more than 10 years pursuing Olympic Weightlifting, competing regularly across Illinois and annually at the Master’s National Weightlifting Championship. She is training to compete at the Master’s World Weightlifting Championship in 2025. She is a certified USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach and local referee.
A Chicago native, Nicole earned a B.A. in English from Lake Forest College and an M.F.A. in Literary Translation from the University of Arkansas, then pursued a career in Research and Business Development. For the past twelve years, she has helped some of the world’s largest professional services firms grow not only their businesses but their brands and reputations in the market. Nicole believes in the transformative powers of education and sports and came to Dominican to pursue her M.B.A. and learn how she can help make the world a better place through business.
