    Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach
Jen Hynds joins the Dominican University women’s volleyball staff for the 2010 season. Hynds was a 2004 Big Ten Volleyball All-Freshman Team honoree as she was a scholarship student-athlete with the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. That season, Hynds posted 104 total blocks with 93 block assists and 11 solo blocks.
In 2006, Hynds ventured into the coaching world, joining the volleyball staff at College of Lake County as an assistant coach. After three years with the Lancers, Hynds joined the Wisconsin Juniors Volleyball Club in the Fall of 2009 and has spent two years as a coach at the club level.
In addition to her volleyball expertise, Hynds is a certified yoga instructor, having taught various yoga classes since 2007, including classes with Waukegan Park District and the Lake Forest Health and Fitness Center.
