Brian Carter, a native of Lockport, Illinois, joined the Dominican Athletics staff full-time in June 2026 as Athletics Operations Manager after previously holding the position of Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant.
Carter graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May of 2024 with a Bachelor's in Communications and minors in Business and Public Relations. While at UIUC, Carter was an intern for the Athletics Communication Department and was responsible for statistical duties for the Fighting Illini's Women's Volleyball and Women's Basketball home contests.
At Dominican, Carter held the position of Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant from July 2024 to May 2026. During his time, Carter drafted hundreds of pieces of content for dustars.com, created a comprehensive portfolio of content for Dominican socials, managed live stat software across multiple home contests, and co-authored the first digital record book in Dominican's history. Carter's tenure as a graduate assistant ended after his graduation with a Master's of Business Administration.
