Dominican University Athletics

Sheehan began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Immaculate Conception College Prep and later at Lisle High School.  He then became head coach at Holy Trinity High School, where he led the program for nine seasons including one 20 win season and four regional championship appearances.  He was named Chicago Prep Conference Coach of The Year for the 2017-18 season.  In 2022 he left Holy Trinity to join Coach Carrillo’s staff at Elmhurst University.  He spent the 2023-24 season as an assistant at York High School and has joined Coach Carrillo at Dominican this year.  Sheehan has a BS in Finance from Illinois State University and an MBA from Loyola University – Chicago.
