Alexis Hoskins helped the Stars to a pair of wins to open the season.  The junior scored in double-figures both games, including a team-high 16 points while playing just three quarters in Saturday's win over Kalamazoo. On the week, Hoskins averaged 15.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 50-percent from the field, including 4-for-9 from three.
