The Dominican University women’s soccer team moved to 13-4-1 on the season and 9-1-1 in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC), playing to a 1-1 draw with the MSOE Raiders on Saturday afternoon.

Elizabeth Ficek (Bloomington, Ill.) past the Raiders’ goalkeeper for the first score of the contest. However, just three minutes later, MSOE’s Colleen Krechel netted the equalizer, her fourth goal of the season.

Megan Schulz (Redford, Mich.) recorded 13 saves in the contest, as the Raiders put 14 shots on goal compared to just five shots on frame for the Stars.
With the draw, the Stars wrapped up second place in the NAC, securing home field advantage in the conference tournament semifinals. Dominican has one regular season contest remaining, hosting the Alverno College Inferno on Wednesday for a 3:00 p.m. match.
