The Dominican University women’s volleyball program, favorites to win the 2010 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) championship, rolled over the MSOE Raiders 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-14) to open NAC play on Tuesday evening.

Sophomore Jacy Lawrence (St. Louis, Mo.) and senior Kasey Kiepura (Vernon Hills, Ill.) led a balanced Dominican attack with ten kills apiece. Kiepura posted a team-high 15.5 points with a pair of service aces and four total blocks, three solo and one assist, in the winning effort.

Defensively, Liz Yakey (Sun Prairie, Wis.) and Mary Pollard (Naperville, Ill.) tallied double-digit digs with 11 and ten digs respectively.

Dominican, now 9-2 overall, will travel to Milwaukee, Wis., on Thursday to take on the Alverno College Inferno in NAC action. The Stars will then return home to host the Rockford College Regents on Wednesday, September 22.
