th minute, netting her second game-winning goal in as many games, to lift the Stars past Benedictine University and stretch the Stars’ winning streak to four matches and unbeaten streak to seven.

Liz Phipps (Bloomington, Ill.) notched her fifth goal of the season, taking advantage of a free kick opportunity and beating the Benedictine University goalkeeper.
The score remained in Dominican’s favor into the 64
th minute until Benedictine got on the board as Nikki Jhanji beat
Megan Schulz (Redford, Mich.) to break a string of 247 minutes of shutout play for the Stars.
Ten minutes later
Ashley Meyer (Evanston, Ill.) took on two Eagle defenders before sliding to a pass to Biggs who found the back of the net for her second goal of the season.
The Stars outshot the Eagles 8-7, putting five shots on frame compared to just three for Benedictine. Schulz made two saves in goal for Dominican, lowering her goals against average to 0.98 in 920 minutes in goal.
The win lifts Dominican to 6-3-1 on the year and 4-0-1 in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC). The Stars return to action on Saturday, taking on the Marian University Sabres. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Dominican’s West Campus Field.
