Box Score The Dominican University women's basketball team led the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors 12-7 in the early going on Saturday afternoon, but the Warriors closed out the first half on a 38-8 run to take a 25-point lead at the break and never looked back, handing the Stars a 79-54 loss. 

Katie Budz (Orland Park, Ill.) paced the Stars in the losing effort, scoring 14 points on 6-for-14 shooting from the field.

As a team the Stars managed to shoot just 27% from the field while the Warriors shot over 46% from the field while the Warriors bench, led by Shavon Dillon's 15 points, outscored the Stars' bench 44-13. 

Dominican, now 17-8 on the season, will return to action on Wednesday, hosting the Marian University Sabres for a quarterfinal matchup in the 2012 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Women's Basketball Tournament.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Igini Sports Forum.
