Box Score The Dominican University women’s soccer team traveled to Dubuque, Iowa, to take on the Loras College Duhawks on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Duhawks 3-0 in the non-conference tilt.
 
Loras took a 1-0 lead in the 11^th minute as Lynn DeVriese received a give-and-go pass from Jayne Eslinger and beat Dominican’s Sara Stepanovich (Des Plaines, Ill.) for what proved to be the game-winner.
 
The Duhawks added another tally as Katie Truesdale notched her fifth goal of the season. 
 
Loras added an insurance goal in the off a corner kick in the 52^nd minute to cap the day’s scoring.
 
The loss drops the Stars to 4-5-0 on the season, returning to Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) action on Tuesday when they host the Benedictine University Eagles on the Stars’ West Campus pitch.  Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. with live coverage of the game available at DUstars.com.
