Box Score The Dominican University women's soccer team hosted the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) leading Edgewood College Eagles, falling by the slimmest of margins on Brianna Franken's goal in the 22^nd minute that banged in off the post.

Sara Stepanovich (Des Plaines, Ill.) faced 12 shots, making three saves while surrendering just one goal in suffering the loss in goal for the Stars.

Offensively, Dominican was able to get off seven shots, but managed to put just one on frame. In the 47^th minute, Leah Tednes (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) got on the end of Nathalie Mathis's (Mundelein, Ill.) service off a Dominican restart opportunity, sending a header towards the Edgewood goal but Tori Fortney was in position to make the save, picking up her conference-leading sixth shutout of the season.

The Stars will be back in action on Monday, traveling up to Lakeland College to take on the Muskies. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. in Sheboygan, Wis.
