The Dominican University women's soccer team wrapped up a return trip to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 shutout victory over the Edgewood College Eagles to move to 8-1-0 in conference play and 11-5-0 overall.  The tournament appearance will be the ninth for Dominican and second in a row after missing the tournament in 2013.
 
The Stars peppered the Eagles' goal with 21 shots, putting nine on goal with three different players finding the back of the goal.  Kelli Iovino scored her 17^th goal of the season, credited with the game-winner in the 12^th minute of play while Lauren Zuro and Alexis Mondragon added insurance goals in the winning effort.
 
Defensively, Dominican allowed just three shots to Edgewood with just two making their way to Sara Stepanovich who picked up her first shutout of the season in just her second start.
 
"It was great to see us come out with confidence and aggression," said second-year head coach Carlos Carrillo.  "We were organized defensively and sharp offensively. I'm really proud of our team and the effort we put forth today."
 
Dominican will close out the regular season on Wednesday, traveling to Lisle, Illinois, to take on the Benedictine University Eagles.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Sports Complex in Lisle.
