The Dominican University women's basketball team fell in their final road game of the 2014-2015 season, falling 67-44 to the MSOE Raiders in Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon. Dominican returns to River Forest, Ill., where the Stars will entertain the Concordia Chicago Cougars in the Stars' season finale on Tuesday evening.
Jasmyn Hardin (Cincinnati, Ohio) scored ten of the Stars' first 12 points and finished with 18 on 8-for-11 shooting from the field to pace Dominican.
Dominican led 14-10 with 12:00 to play in the first half but the Raiders outscored the Stars 26-7 the rest of the half to open a 36-21 lead at the break and never looked back.
Holly Denfeld led the Raiders with 17 points, going 8-for-11 from the field. Megan Kroll added 12 points for MSOE while Bre Strong pulled down a game-high 12 boards.
The loss drops the Stars to 1-23 on the season and 0-19 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC).
