The Dominican University men's volleyball team pushed their winning streak to 19 matches on Saturday afternoon, sweeping through the Olivet College Comets (25-13, 25-16, 25-19) in 62 minutes at the Igini Sports Forum.

The Stars were paced by junior
Zach Sinn and
Adam Janusz who knocked down ten kills apiece. Sinn was nearly perfect, committing no errors to hit a hefty .833 on 12 attacks while Janusz committed just one error on 12 attempts to hit .750.

At the serving line, Dominican served nine aces, including a season-high four for freshman
Ethan Klosak.

As a team, Dominican hit .405 in the winning effort, behind freshman setter
Evan Ruffner and sophomore setter
Nidhin Thomas who doled out 23 and 11 assists respectively.

Defensively, Dominican posted 5.5 total blocks. Sinn,
Aidan Spangler and
Trevor Slonek collected a pair of block assists apiece while
Jake Sidner,
Patrick Bradford,
Charlie Spry, Ruffner and Thomas tallied one block assist apiece.

The Stars, now 19-1 on the season and 14-0 in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL), return to the Igini Sports Forum on Sunday, hosting the Mount St. Joseph Lions in a conference matchup at 11 a.m. before taking a break from MCVL play in the afternoon when the 15
th-ranked Stars host the #3 Stevens Institute of Technology Ducks at 1:30 p.m.
