The Dominican University women's volleyball team steamrolled the Rockford University Regents in three-sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-11) to climb back to .500 on the season at 8-8 and improve to 2-1 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC).

The Stars equaled their season-best hitting percentage of .287, knocking down 38 kills while committing just 13 errors on 87 total attacks. Senior middle
Kendyl Todd paced the attack, tallying eight kills on 16 swings while
Stephanie Cole knocked down seven kills on just nine swings.

At the serving line, the Stars served 13 aces while committing just three errors, both season-bests for the Stars.

Defensively, Dominican's backrow effort, collecting 47 digs, limited the Regents to a .118 attack percentage.Â
Megan Parker led the way with 16 digs while

The Stars will continue their road show, playing their seventh consecutive match away from the Igini Sports Forum on Friday, traveling to Madison, Wisconsin, to take on the Edgewood College Eagles in league play. The match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start.
