The Dominican University men's basketball team dropped a 70-58 game to the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors on Thursday night at the Igini Sports Forum. The loss drops the Stars to 4-14 on the season and 2-12 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC).
The Stars were led by
Jonny Woolf who dropped in 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting and converted on four of his five trips to the foul line.
Domenic Aiello,
Isaac Moore and
Jackson Smith all came off the bench to score nine, eight and seven respectively.
Dominican lost the battle on the boards, 47-27, surrendering 13 offensive rebounds to the Warriors.
Wisconsin Lutheran was paced by Collin Kennedy's 17 points and 11 rebounds. Chase Nowak added 16 points while Mack Knueppel chipped in 11.
The Stars hit the road on Saturday, traveling to Rockford to take on the Rockford University Regents. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
