The Dominican University women's soccer team dominated the stat sheet and finally broke a scoreless tie in the 82^nd minute when Josseline Williams knocked in a rebound for the game-winning goal.
 
"I was really happy with our team and their overall performance," commented Stars' head coach Carlos Carrillo following the win. "We came out strong and with good intensity and executed our game plan. Give credit to the St. Norbert goalkeeper, we dominated the stat sheet and she came up big numerous times. I also have to credit our backline for staying organized throughout the 90 minutes."
 
For Williams, the goal was the second of the season for the junior forward.  #Maggie McClure# picked up an assist on the tally, forcing St. Norbert's Ally Magiera to make one of her 17 saves on a free kick strike.
 
In total, Dominican peppered Magiera and the Green Knight's goal with 27 shots, putting 18 on goal, while not surrendering a single shot to St. Norbert for Dominican's first clean sheet of the season.  The Stars also held a stark 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.
 
The Stars will return to action on Sunday, traveling to Olivet, Michigan, to take on the Olivet College Comets.  Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
