Stars Topped By Eagles

The Dominican University men's basketball team fell to the Benedictine University Eagles on Saturday evening at the Dan and Ada Rice Center, 87-60, in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play.

Dominican's Isaac Moore scored a game-high 19 points for the Stars in the losing effort. Moore shot 7-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-6 from three.  The senior has scored in double-figures in ten of the 14 games he has played this season, averaging 12.6 points per game while shooting better than 51-percent from the field.  Moore's 47.1 percent shooting from beyond the three-point stripe puts him in the top five in the NACC.

For the Eagles, four players reached double-figures scoring with Bryan Jakobsze, Eric Grygo and Carl Singletary, Jr., all dropping in 14 points.  Kenny Bogus added 11 points in the winning effort.
