The Dominican University men's basketball team returned to action on Monday night for their third game in five days, falling to the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons, 92-52. The loss drops the Stars to 2-11 on the season and 2-6 in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play.
The Falcons shot better than 56-percent from the field while the Stars managed to hit at just a 32-percent clip from the field, including going just 4-for-26 from three. Dennis Handy and Taj Adams scored nine points apiece to lead Dominican in the losing effort.
For the Falcons, Josh Hau scored a game-high 21 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the field, including 4-for-6 from three. Hau led four in double-figures scoring for the Falcons with Brandon Keller and Joey Zietlow each adding 11 off the bench while Jake Jurrs finished with ten.
Dominican will look to snap a five-game losing streak on Wednesday when it travels to Aurora to take on the Aurora University Spartans. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Aurora's Thornton Gymnasium.
