The Dominican University men's basketball team opened the final week of the season on Tuesday night, falling to the MSOE Raiders, 82-63, in the Stars' final home game of the season at the Igini Sports Forum.

The Stars, shooting near 42 percent from the field in the first half, kept pace with the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) leading Raiders for the first twenty minutes, trailing just 37-35 at the break. It was not until midway through the second half when the Raiders used a 17-2 run to pull away, opening a 69-50 lead with 6:42 to play.

For the Stars,
Christopher Burel came off the bench to score a team-high 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting, including 3-for-6 from three.Â
Isaac Moore, playing in his final game at the Igini Sports Forum, added 15 points and pulled down six rebounds while
Marcus Watson chipped in 14 points.

For the Raiders, Matthew Kirmse scored a game-high 23 points, leading three in double-figures scoring.

Dominican, 3-20 on the season, will travel to Concordia University Wisconsin on Thursday to take on the Falcons before closing out the 2018-2019 campaign on Saturday at Lakeland.
