The Dominican University men's basketball team closed out the 2018-2019 season on Saturday, falling in their season finale, 91-54, to the Lakeland University Muskies in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The loss drops the Stars to 3-22 on the season and 3-17 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
The Stars led midway through the first half, 18-17, before the host Muskies outscored Dominican 30-10 over the final ten minutes of the period to open a 47-28 lead at the break and never looked back.
Dennis Handy paced the Stars in the season finale, dropping in 14 points on 4-for-7 shooting, including going 3-for-4 from three.

The Muskies, led by Eric Nygaard's game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds, shot 37-for-76 from the field while controlling the glass, holding a 48-35 advantage on the boards.
