The Dominican University men's volleyball team swept the Marian University Sabres (25-23, 25-21, 25-18) on the road Friday night in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to improve to 17-10 on the season and 12-3 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC). The Stars will close out the 2019 regular season on Saturday, taking the short trek down Division Street to meet the Concordia University Chicago Cougars in a Northwestern Mutual River Forest Rivalry Cup Series matchup.
On Friday night, the Stars hit .262 in the winning effort, knocking down 42 kills on 103 total attacks while committing just 15 errors. Seven different players tallied kills for Dominican, led by
Ethan Klosak's team-high ten kills. Freshman
George Kougan added eight kills as Klosak and Kougan combined for 18 kills on just 43 attack attempts while hitting a combined .372.
Jack McGuire ran the offense, collecting 39 assists while picking up three kills of his own.
Defensively, the Stars slowed the Sabres to a .163 attack percentage, posting four total blocks at the net and collecting 49 digs.
Bregin DeMarco led the back row effort, racking up a team-high 14 digs while Klosak rounded out a double-double effort with ten digs of his own.

Adam Eboli that led the charge, picking up three block assists.
Heading into the final day of conference play on Saturday, the Stars have already secured the second seed in the 2019 NACC Tournament, which will be hosted by the top-seeded MSOE Raiders. Both the Stars and Raiders will sit idle during the quarterfinals of the six-team tournament on Tuesday. Dominican will meet the winner of the #3 Aurora University Spartans and #6 Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons next Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. with the winner advancing to the 2019 NACC Tournament Championship on Saturday, April 13, at 5:00 p.m.
