RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's women's soccer program defeated Alverno College 14-0 in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play on Wednesday afternoon. 
 
DU scored eight in the first half with goals from Hannah Anderson, Katie Norlie (2), Sophia Bartridge, Ava Quist, Dana Steffen (2) and Guadalupe Fuentes. The Stars continued their offensive surge in the second half as Noelle Chong, Jocelyn Duran (2), Sisi Gomez, Alyssa Brewer and Steffen all produced second-half tallies. 
 
The goals for Quist, Fuentes, Duran, Brewer and Gomez were all their first of the season. Rachel Huser started in goal and secured the clean sheet as the Dominican defense did not allow a single shot. For Dominican, the Stars registered 55 shots, 33 on goal. 
 
Dominican finishes the home regular season with a perfect 9-0 record, only conceding one goal at home in conference play. DU takes on Edgewood on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 4:30 p.m. as it looks to maintain its share of first-place in the NACC. Links to live coverage will be available via dustars.com.
