RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's women's volleyball team won its second-straight Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) match on Tuesday night, defeating Illinois Tech in straight sets.
Dominican opened the match with two tightly-contested set victories, winning the first two frames, 25-23 and 25-22, respectively. With the momentum in the Stars corner, DU dispatched the Scarlet Hawks in set three, 25-14, for its second-straight sweep.
Gabija Sinickaite and
Emily Schellhase paced the DU offense with 13 kills each.
Maya Green added eight kills as
Adeleen Dunker dished out 34 assists. Schellhase led the defense with 13 digs while Green and
Sarah Lychock joined her in double-figures with 10 a piece.
