RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's women's basketball team was defeated by Fontbonne University 60-46 on the road on Saturday in non-conference play. 
 
Dominican matched the Griffins in the second half 31-31, but fell behind 29-15 at the half, a deficit it could not overcome. Alisha Markley scored a game high 21 points, making four threes while adding eight rebounds. Mackenzie Coleman and Kamryn Woods each chipped in six points. Stephenee Huggans, who was named to the all-tournament team, totaled seven rebounds and six assists, adding five points. 
 
DU continues its road non-conference slate on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m., taking on Mount Mary University in Milawukee, Wis. Links to live coverage will be available via dustars.com.
