RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's women's basketball team notched its first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) win of the season on Tuesday evening, defeating Illinois Tech 68-62.
DU trailed for most of the first three quarters, but outscored the Scarlet Hawks 28-18 in the deciding frame to secure the win.

Kamryn Woods combined for 52 points on the offensive end, making a collective eight three-pointers. Individually, Markley's 27 points were a career-high as were Woods' 25.
The Stars made ten triples compared to IIT's three and shot 82.4 percent from the free throw line. DU used a 10-point run to begin the fourth quarter to put itself ahead and never relinquished the lead.
