RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Dominican University's men's basketball team fell at home to Concordia-Chicago 68-60 on Wednesday evening in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play.
DU played an excellent first half, limiting the Cougars to just 30 points, and held a five-point lead at the break. Dominican led by as much as 13 in the first half, but a CUC response in the final 20 minutes secured the Cougars the eight-point win.
Jacob Riedl led the Stars with 16 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the field.

Gavin Richardson were also in double-figures on the offensive end. As a team, Dominican shot 9-of-11 from the free throw line in the first half, but shot just 54 percent from the charity stripe in the second half, making 7-of-13 attempts.
