RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Following an outstanding fall campaign from both soccer programs, Dominican University sits 72nd in the current Learfield/IMG Director's Cup Division III Standings.
DU is also ranked first among Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) institutions as the only institution to have multiple NCAA qualifiers in the Fall of 2021. Dominican's men's and women's soccer programs both won their respective NACC Postseason Tournaments, punching their berths to the NCAA Tournament.
Women's soccer secured its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory, advancing to the Second Round. Men's soccer fell in the opening round, but the two programs combined to produce 75 Director's Cup points for DU.
Dominican outpaced NACC-foes Aurora and MSOE, whom complete the trio of NACC institutions which earned NCAA qualification this fall.
The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
