De Pere, Wis.- The Dominican University women's soccer team traveled to St. Norbert to take on the Green Knights. The Stars secured the victory in dominating fashion with a 4-0 victory.
The Stars scored their first goal in the 36th minute when freshman
Natalia Lopez found junior
Grace Larson for the first goal of the game. The 1-0 score would lead into halftime.
The second half saw the Stars explode for three goals, all by different players. In the 54th minute freshman
Sarah Borsellino scored with an assist from freshman Mia Tauilahu. Fifth year senior Micheala Thawley got a goal for herself in the 71st minute with assist from freshman
Sierra Rioux. Four minutes later, fifth year senior
Hannah Anderson netted the third goal of the half for the Stars and make it 4-0 to notch the win.
With the win this afternoon Dominican improves to 8-2-2 on the year and 6-0 in conference play. The Stars are back in action Wednesday night on the road at Marian University at 7.00pm.
